It’s Pipeline season, folks. We’ve officially entered that marvelous time of the year in which men and women risk their lives at the good old fashion Banzai. Earlier this week marked the opener with a big swell and a talented group of suitors. Here we see John John Florence and Tamayo Perry, two of the North Shore’s finest, find classic Pipeline rides. John John slides in deep, disappears and emerges with the spit, hands nowhere near the rail. Tamayo finds more of a roll-in, backdoors a big section and also reemerges in a plume. One tiger, one bear and one poll for you on this lovely Friday.
